Why I need the iSTEPup Foundation 

It would have been so difficult for me to achieve my academic dream without the intervention of the iSTEPup program. Truly, it would have been impossible. I came from a polygamus background of 2 wives and 9 children and my father was only a subsistence farmer before he past away. I am the last of the 9 children born.. My Mother is an uneducated woman who survives only on her backyard garden with 5 of us. I have gone this far becausee I have a persion for education especially in the saving live sector (Nursing), and as a woman, if there’s no help at this juncture, I will definitely failed my dreams.

My name is  Isatu Mansaray, hospital matron. I came to know  these nurses who are to be awarded with  i-step-up scholarship in the year 2022 ( 4th June) when I was posted to Masanga Hospital Rehabilitation  Project.
They are very hard working, punctual, caring and always ready to work to the best of their abilities.
